| Leaving the city traffic behind, we made our way up a bumpy, dusty road to Cape Esterias. It is easy to see why this is THE weekend getaway spot for the Libreville elite. | |
| | | | | After the bone-jarring ride, Rasa needed a moment to reflect and write in her journal. | | |
| | | | | Just another postcard perfect palm fringed beach in paradise. | | |
| | | | | Most of the houses might be shacks but if I lived here, I would not be complaining with a backyard like this. | | |
| | | | | When the locals need a new boat, they just pick anyone of the numerous logs that washed up on the beach and start carving. | | |
| | | | | It is almost a shame to think these kids would be sitting around inside if they had a Playstation; instead they make their own toys and constantly run around outside. | | |
| | | | | This was just another perfect sunset to finish off our day. This was probably one of the best on the trip, even though the pictures do not come close to doing it justice. | | |
| | | | | Well, there was one more surprise waiting for us in the bathroom. His claws were easily big enough to snip off a toe while sitting on the toilet. | | |
| Tomorrow we have to decide if we want to leave for Lope National Park or spend an extra day lounging around on the beach. Life's decisions are so hard to make sometimes. | |
